Join us for an evening with an icon of TV; actor, author, broadcaster, comedian, presenter, and political activist, Sir Tony Robinson promises a behind the scenes insight into his remarkable life and career. Robinson began appearing on our TV screens in the 1970s but it was his role as Baldrick in the iconic BBC comedy Blackadder (1983-1989) that brought him to fame and national treasure status. Channel 4’s Time Team followed and dominated the schedules for 20 years. He’s presented multiple hit television series, often reflecting his keen interest in history and archaeology, and has written numerous books on the subject. Active on many charity and political campaigns, in 2013, he was knighted for his public and political service.
