The role of the princess is played by Isadora Valero Meza who appears courtesy of Northern Ballet. Bojan Čičić (baroque violin)

      £12.00

      Venue: Stockeld Park, Wetherby
      Date: June 19, 2014 - Time: 11:00 am

Many of the Baroque period’s leading composers wrote significant works for solo violin, including Bach, Telemann and Tartini. These works, often fiendishly difficult to play, coax the ear into a unique sound world in which the solo instrument is often called upon to provide the melody and harmony simultaneously. There are few more persuasive exponents of this repertoire than the Croatian baroque violinist Bojan Čičić, one of Europe’s finest.
